Finnish-American Folk Festival

Naselle, Washington, July 29&ndashAugust 1, 2004

Naselle's Bi-Annual
Festival of All Things Finnish
and Finnish-American

The main festival day is Saturday, with a preview on Friday, and a closing on Sunday, but . . .

wait: there's more!

On Thursday evening, in Deep River, a special musical offering was held as a kind of prelude to the festival. Featuring local artists on the flute, kantele, and voice — and even the ringing of the church bell — this was a rather meditative opening to a fun time this weekend.

Friday's events include a golf tournament, a play, and music and fun for the whole family. See the Friday schedule for a better idea of what awaits you.

Saturday's events all take place in Naselle, and include just about everything you can think of, starting with a friendly competitive run and ending with . . . well, see the Saturday schedule for something approaching a full list.

On Sunday, we take things a bit easier . . . and with a bit more solemnity. See the Sunday schedule for more detail.

And remember, come back to this website after the festival, for pictures and memories as well as a hint of the big dreams we plan to make real in 2006!
