Gary London

Gary London developed an interest in Finnish-American history while doing doctoral dissertation research on the Socialist Workers’ Party in Finland.

He has subsequently written monographs and presented lectures on the Finnish-American Anti-Socialist Movement, Finns in the Northwest, the socialization of Laestadian children and youth, John Morton and the Declaration of Independence, and socialist writer/organizer/agitator Moses Hahl.

Active in the Puget Sound Finnish community, Gary is completing a five-year term as president of Finlandia Foundation Seattle Chapter on June 30.
